Close to the park entrance, along King Street, is Patisserie Sainte Anne. Head to this cosy, colourful French bakery for classic breads and pastries, but don’t forget to try their heavenly macarons. Aldensey Road offers a small collection of inviting independent cafés and shops. Brackenbury Deli serves lovely deli food to take away as well as an eat-in café for breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Stentons Butchers is a family butchers offering organic, free range meats and is a firm favourite amongst the locals.

Turning the corner onto Hammersmith Grove will bring you to another parade of shops and cafes. For amazingly authentic Indian street food head to Chai Naasto; you’re guaranteed to want to go back again and again. Just a step away, Brackenbury Wine Rooms provides the perfect combination of café/restaurant and wine shop.

  • Have a browse around the W6 Garden Centre on Ravenscourt Avenue which specialises in urban gardening. It also has a lovely café serving delicious breakfasts and lunches as well as coffees & cakes.
